Directions to Our Visitors Center
The Smoky Hill Bison Visitors Center is open to the public year round. The Gift Shop features buffalo (meat to toys) and Kansas products.
Visiting the Farm
Well, it’s easy! Just follow the SMOKY HILL BISON BUFFALO signs to the Smoky Hill Bison Visitors Center.
If you’re coming from the North on I-135, you’ll be looking for Exit 82 (Assaria), and if you’re coming from the South on I-135, you’ll be looking for Exit 78 (Lindsborg/Bridgeport). It’s a nice 6-mile country drive to our pasture’s Visitors Center from either exit.
Please note: We are NOT associated with “Sunny Side Patch”. All buffalo tours, day and night mazes, The Pumpkin Patch, activities, gift shop, food, school field trips, and group meals and tours are at the Smoky Hill Bison Visitors Center. Turn left when you see our official business sign on Hobbs Creek Road.
DO NOT follow any road detour signs they put up during the maze season to fool you! Please follow the Buffalo Signs to the best place to have fun in the country!
